About Dorset Taekwondo

Dorset Taekwondo Association is the collective name for the WTF Taekwondo clubs in Bournemouth, Christchurch, & Poole area. Most of the Clubs were first started by Master Keith Evans back in the mid/late 80's. Many of them are now run by other Black Belt instructors.

The Association has approximately 200 students ranging from beginners to 3rd Dan Assistant instructors.

The Association is a Member of the British Taekwondo Control Board (BTCB), who are trh National Governig Body for Olympic Taekwondo in GB.

The Association tries not to get involved in organisational politics and welcomes all Taekwondo practitioners and beginners alike. We strive to learn from all Taekwondo associations making friends and training with all those who welcome us.

All the Instructors below are very highly qualified. As well as years of experience teaching taekwondo, they have all completed a BTCB instructors courses.

The BTCB instructors course includes training in Child Protection, Health and Safety, First Aid etc... To register as a Taekwondo Instructor Applicants must also pass a Criminal Records Bureau Check (CRB).
